How to Send an Invoice and Get Paid Faster
Sending the invoice is half the job. The other half is making it easy to pay and following up when it’s late, without awkward emails.
Try Invoicing free for 14 daysWhat to include
- A short subject line with the invoice number
- The amount and due date in the email itself
- The invoice attached as a PDF or as a link
- A one-click way to pay, if you can offer it
Step by step
- Make the invoice (the free Invoice Generator makes a PDF in a minute).
- Email it with a subject like “Invoice INV-0012 from Your Business, due 20 May”.
- Say the amount and due date in the first line.
- Follow up politely the day after it’s due, then a week later.
- To skip the chasing: send it from BlissPoint Invoicing, which adds a Pay button for card and bank payments and sends reminders automatically, with Aiva following up on late ones.
Tip: Clients pay sooner when paying takes one click. A Pay button removes the “I’ll do it later” step.
