No surprise bill in April

Aiva reads the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26) and IRS guidance and gives you the section, the form and what records to keep.

When a big payment lands, you buy equipment or a quarter is due, she tells you what it means for your taxes, while there’s still time to act.
Keeps the books tax-ready
Transactions categorized for the right tax line as you go, and a year-end pack for your accountant.
Personal and business
Schedule C, home office, vehicle, retirement accounts, kids, education, health savings and the new 2025-2028 deductions for tips, overtime, seniors and car loan interest.

How it works

  1. Connect your money. Invoices, expenses and bank imports flow into your books, categorized for the right tax line.
  2. Take the checkup. A few plain questions, and Aiva lists every deduction, credit and strategy that fits, with what each is worth.
  3. Get your plan. Your projected tax, the safe-harbor payment, and what to send each quarter.
  4. She keeps watch. Reminders before due dates, and a heads-up when something changes what you owe.
  5. File with confidence. A year-end pack your preparer can use, or your own software.

Questions

Can AI help me do my taxes?

Yes. Aiva, the AI employee in BlissPoint Access, finds your deductions, keeps your books categorized, projects what you owe and plans quarterly payments, citing the tax code for each answer. She doesn’t file returns; you or your preparer file with the numbers she prepares.

How do I avoid owing a big tax bill?

Pay estimated taxes each quarter. If your withholding plus estimated payments equal last year’s total tax (110% if your income was over $150,000), the IRS can’t charge an underpayment penalty, and setting aside a percentage of every payment means the April balance is already saved.

What can a small business owner write off?

Ordinary and necessary business expenses: software, advertising, phone and internet, mileage, a home office, equipment (often all in the first year), insurance, professional fees, travel, half of business meals, health insurance and retirement contributions. See the A–Z list for 200+ more.

Is Aiva a CPA?

No. Aiva is an AI guide that explains the law and does the math. For complex situations such as an audit, changing your business entity, a large sale or multi-state income, she’ll tell you to bring in a CPA, enrolled agent or tax attorney, and hand them a clean year-end pack.

Is this up to date with the 2025 tax law?

Yes. It includes the One Big Beautiful Bill Act changes: the higher standard deduction, the $40,000 state and local tax cap, the tips, overtime, senior and car loan interest deductions, 100% bonus depreciation and the permanent 20% qualified business income deduction.

Is my financial information private?

Your books and answers stay in your account. The free Tax Finder and Tax Planner work without an account and don’t store what you type unless you save it.

Aiva explains tax law and estimates amounts; she isn’t a CPA, enrolled agent or attorney, doesn’t give tax advice for your specific return and doesn’t file returns. Federal law; states differ.
