Questions
How will I know if Instagram or TikTok deleted my post?
Social Backup checks your recent posts every day. If one of them is gone from the network, we check again the next day to be sure, then email you which post was removed. It stays in your backup, and you can put it back up with one click.
Can I repost a deleted post?
Yes. Open Social Backup, find the post (removed posts are marked) and press Repost. It opens in Social Scheduler with the original caption and photos, so you can post it again, or post it on a different network instead, right away or at a time you pick.
Why do I need my data download if you already back me up?
Our daily backup saves your posts, captions and photos. Some networks don’t let apps copy videos or messages, so the network’s own data download is the only complete copy. We remind you once a month and keep it safe for you in Lifeboat.
How do I back up my Instagram account?
Connect Instagram to BlissPoint once and your posts, captions, photos, videos and engagement are backed up automatically every day. For messages and everything else, also request Instagram’s own data download in Accounts Center every few months and add it to Lifeboat.
What happens to my content if my account is banned or deleted?
On the platform it’s usually gone, sometimes permanently. With Social Backup, every post up to the day before is already saved with us, and you can download it all as a ZIP or repost it from Social Scheduler on your other networks.
Can I back up TikTok videos?
We save every TikTok video’s caption, cover image and stats automatically. TikTok’s API doesn’t hand over the video files themselves, so request TikTok’s data download (Settings and privacy, Account, Download your data) and add it to Lifeboat; the checklist reminds you every few months.
Why do social media accounts get banned without warning?
Most enforcement is automated. Reporting waves, copyright claims, a hacked account posting spam, or an algorithm misreading content can all trigger suspensions, and appeals can take weeks. You can’t control their systems; you can make sure a decision there doesn’t erase your work.
How do I protect my social media account from being hacked?
Turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app, keep your recovery email and phone current, use a unique password stored in a password manager, and don’t sign in through links in messages. The Protection checklist tracks each of these for every network.
Is my backup private?
Yes. Only you can see it. Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage, and we use the same connections you approved for scheduling; your main social media passwords are never stored.
What if I stop using BlissPoint?
Download everything first: the ZIP includes every file, a spreadsheet and an offline page. It’s yours, in standard formats, and doesn’t need us to open.
