Why BlissPoint Access over Turo, Getaround, Outdoorsy?
- ✓Open P2P marketplaces take a large, often opaque cut and leave owners guessing what they’ll actually net. Here it is 8% of the rental, shown on every booking next to the subtotal and your payout, so you always know exactly what you keep.
- ✓Airport lockboxes and self-service pickup are the norm on the big platforms. Here, white-glove concierge delivery and airport meet-and-greet are real, bookable options a renter selects up front — and only ever shown when the operator has actually enabled them, so no one is offered a handoff experience that doesn’t exist.
- ✓Damage disputes on open marketplaces can vanish into a support queue for weeks. Every claim here moves through a visible status — open, under review, resolved — so both the renter and the operator always know exactly where it stands.
- ✓Instead of a free-for-all where anyone can list any car, every vehicle belongs to a registered, professionally managed rental operator with its own storefront and fleet — with maintenance and deep-cleaning records tracked per vehicle — so renters never hit the bait-and-switch quality inconsistencies common on true P2P apps.
What each platform keeps from your rental
Rent a $1,450-a-day Huracán for three days: you keep $4,002 with BlissPoint, against $3,045–$3,915 on Turo. That difference stays in your fleet.
| Platform | Keeps from the operator | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| BlissPoint | 8% | Listing is free; you only pay when you rent. Bring your own insurance. |
| Vrbo | about 8% | 5% commission plus 3% payment processing |
| Turo | 10–30% | Depends on the protection plan you choose |
| Airbnb | about 15.5% | Host-only fee |
| Outdoorsy | 20–25% | New hosts start at 25% |
| Getaround | 40% | Plus a device fee |
Rates from each platform's published host terms, checked October 2026. In fairness: Turo's cut includes its protection plan, and BlissPoint's 8% does not include insurance. Card processing (2.9% + 30¢ in the US) is charged by Stripe on online payments.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from Turo?
You keep 92% of every rental instead of 70–90%, every vehicle comes from a professionally managed fleet instead of a random individual owner, and concierge delivery plus a visible damage-claim status are built in rather than left to chance.
What does it cost to list my cars?
Listing is free. BlissPoint takes 8% of each rental's price (before any insurance you sell), and nothing on rentals that are cancelled. Your fleet tools come with your BlissPoint plan.
How is the 8% collected?
If you take card payments through Stripe, renters pay online when they book: the money lands in your Stripe account and the 8% comes out automatically. Rentals paid another way (cash, bank transfer, mobile payment, or in a country Stripe doesn't serve) go on one monthly statement, charged to the card on your BlissPoint plan.
Is insurance included in the 8%?
No. Turo's higher cut includes its protection plan; ours doesn't, so you bring your own commercial cover. You can still offer renters basic or premium cover at a price you set.
Do I need an account to book a car?
No — you can request a booking as a guest with just your name and email. Signing in additionally saves your booking history and lets you leave a review after your rental.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged during my rental?
File a damage claim directly from your booking. The operator moves it through a visible open → under review → resolved status, so you always know where it stands instead of waiting on a support ticket.
Can my business list its fleet on BlissPoint Access?
Yes — set up your operator profile from the Car Rental tool, add your vehicles, and choose which pickup options (standard, concierge delivery, airport meet-and-greet) you offer. You set your own prices, and BlissPoint keeps 8% only when you rent.
