1 Millimeters is also equal to:

Centimeters (cm)0.1
Meters (m)0.001
Kilometers (km)0.000001
Inches (in)0.03937

Miles (mi)0.000001
Nautical Miles (nmi)0.000001

The metric system (mm/cm/m/km) scales by powers of 10, which is why converting within it is just moving a decimal point. The imperial units (in/ft/yd/mi) don’t share a common base — that’s a historical accident of body-based measurements (a "foot" was literally a foot) that stuck around in the US.

Why BlissPoint Access over Calculator.net, UnitConverters.net, RapidTables?

  • ✓Most unit converters give you one number and nothing else. Every mode here shows the actual formula or factor used, plus a short explanation of why the units relate the way they do — the goal is to leave you knowing the conversion, not just this one answer.
  • ✓The linear categories (length, weight, volume, etc.) show your value converted to every unit in that category at once, so you can see relative scale, not just a single from/to pair.
  • ✓Electricity is a real Ohm’s Law / Watt’s Law solver, not a unit converter pretending volts and amps are the same kind of thing — enter any two of Voltage, Current, Power, or Resistance and it derives the other two, with a plain-English explanation of what each one actually measures.
  • ✓Fuel economy explicitly explains why mpg and L/100km move in opposite directions instead of silently doing the (non-obvious) inverse math.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to use this?

No — every conversion runs instantly in your browser with no signup, and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

What’s the actual difference between watts and amps?

They measure different things: amps (current) measure how fast electric charge is flowing, while watts (power) measure the total rate of energy use — which depends on both current AND voltage together (Watts = Volts × Amps). The Electricity calculator lets you solve for whichever one you don’t know.

Why isn’t fuel economy a simple multiplication like the other categories?

mpg is distance divided by fuel used, while L/100km is fuel used divided by distance — they’re inverses of each other, so a bigger mpg number means better efficiency but a bigger L/100km number means worse efficiency. The Fuel Economy mode handles that inversion for you automatically.
